During this year's Baltic Windustry Conference in Gdańsk, industry experts and business leaders discussed the role that cooperation, research, research and development and digital transformation will - and are already playing - in the development of offshore wind in the Baltic Sea.

The latest geological and geotechnical seabed research confirmed that the Baltic Sea, with an area of approximately 136 square kilometres is suitable for offshore wind farms.

Orlen Group has received five new location permits for the development of offshore wind farms in the Baltic Sea, following an announcement by Poland's Ministry of Infrastructure.
