Westinghouse Electric filed an appeal with the Czech Anti-Monopoly Office to protest the decision by CEZ to select KHNP as the preferred bidder for the construction of two new nuclear reactors at the Dukovany power plant.

The tender for the construction of a new nuclear unit at the Dukovany power plant is entering the second phase and Westinghouse has been excluded as it "did not meet the necessary conditions."
