European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen has decided to assign the role of Executive Vice-President for the European Green Deal to Vice-President Maroš Šefčovič, following the resignation of Frans Timmermans.

According to a recent Eurobarometer survey, a huge majority of Europeans believe climate change is a serious problem facing the world and over half think that the European Green Deal should be sped up.

Transgaz and E.ON Romania have signed an MoU on future cooperation in aligning and correlating both sides' development strategies concerning natural gas infrastructure with European Green Deal and other European legal provisions.
