The Ukrainian parliament has voted in favour of a draft law that can allow for the implementation of "smart networks" in Ukraine that give the gas transit system operator (GTSOU) a special mode of operation for more efficient gas transportation.
In 2023, the total volume of gas transported to Ukraine through its western borders amounted to over 4.3 billion cubic metres, announced Dymtro Lyppa, CEO of GTSOU via LinkedIn on Friday.
General Director of the Gas Transmission Operator of Ukraine (GTSOU) on Wednesday suggested creating a guaranteed capacity along the entire length of the Trans-Balkan route for the gas pipeline’s operation in reverse mode.
