Romania’s state-owned gas producer Romgaz has successfully launched its inaugural bond issuance, raising €500 million through the Euro Medium Term Notes (EMTN) program, the energy ministry in Bucharest said.

Romania's largest natural gas producer ROMGAZ opened a new branch in Moldova under the name of ROMGAZ Chisinau Branch.

Romanian natural gas producer Romgaz signed a contract with Socar Trading, a subsidiary of the Azeri state oil company, SOCAR for the delivery of up to 1 billion cubic meteres (bcm) of natural gas to Romania until March 2024.

Romgaz completed the transaction to acquire and transfer all the shares issued by ExxonMobil which holds a 50% stake in the Black Sea offshore project Neptun Deep.
