Ukrainian aircraft launch 12 strikes on invaders
According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said this in a post on Facebook.
This morning, the Russian invaders launched a massive missile attack on Ukraine.
The enemy launched air and sea-based cruise missiles, as well as S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles, at energy and civilian infrastructure in the eastern, central, western and southern regions of Ukraine.
According to specified data, 69 cruise missiles were used. Ukraine's defense forces knocked down 54 of them.
Throughout the day, the enemy launched ten missile strikes, 23 airstrikes and carried out 14 attacks using multiple launch rocket systems at the positions of Ukrainian troops and settlements along the contact line.
The General Staff said the enemy continues to use the network of civilian healthcare facilities in the temporarily occupied territory to treat wounded Russian servicemen and mercenaries of private military companies.
In Bilovodsk, Starobilsk district, Luhansk region, more than 100 wounded representatives of the Wagner private military company continue to receive treatment. In addition, in the city of Tokmak, about 120 wounded invaders are being treated on the territory of the so-called "military hospital."
In Donetsk, the invaders organized the removal of medical equipment and medical workers from the Kalinin Donetsk Regional Clinical Hospital to Mariupol.
On Wednesday, December 28, more than 50 invaders were eliminated after Ukrainian forces shelled enemy positions in the Berdiansk district of the Zaporizhzhia region.
"Ukrainian aircraft launched 12 strikes on the areas where the invaders were concentrated and hit the position of the enemy's anti-aircraft missile system. Our rocket and artillery forces during the current day hit four command posts and three areas of concentration of the occupiers' military personnel," the General Staff reported.
