Russians hit Vovchansk with two missiles, injuring six civilians

In the early hours of February 16, Russian troops launched airstrikes on the liberated city of Vovchansk, Kharkiv region, injuring six people.

"Today, around 10:30, the occupiers shelled the city of Vovchansk again. According to preliminary information, the shelling was carried out by enemy aircraft. Two missile strikes were recorded," Oleh Synehubov, Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, posted on Telegram.

A 30-year-old employee of Kharkivoblenergo local energy company was injured in the shelling. He was hospitalized with a mine blast injury.

The premises of an enterprise and a private residential building were damaged.

As Synehubov reported later, the number of injured has risen to six.

"The number of injured in the airstrike on Vovchansk has risen to six people. According to updated information, five more men aged 35 to 65 were injured. The doctors provided them with all the necessary assistance," said the governor.

According to him, all the injured are specialists who repaired communication lines.

The border city of Vovchansk in Kharkiv region is under enemy fire every day.
