Explosion rocks airfield in Melitopol - mayor

An explosion rang out at an airfield in the temporarily captured city of Melitopol, Zaporizhzhia region.
This was reported by Melitopol Mayor Ivan Fedorov on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
He said that the explosion occurred at around 13:00.

Fedorov also recalled that explosions rocked the enemy military base located at the Melitopol airfield a dozen times during the year of occupation.
As reported, Melitopol has been occupied by the Russian military since the end of February 2022.
