The Russian occupiers are evicting Nova Kakhovka residents who live on the bank of the Dnipro River to set up firing positions there.

"Yes, they pursue such a practice, they really evict people from those buildings where they want to arrange positions that had been washed away. Because they no longer have time to dig trenches and dugouts, they simply set up so-called positions for street battles – what they did when they were preparing to leave Kherson but told everyone that they were preparing for street battles," Natalia Humeniuk, the head of the joint press center of the Operational Command "South", said during the United News national telethon.

As reported, in the temporarily occupied Nova Kakhovka in Kherson region, the Russian military occupies the apartments of local residents. There are cases of forced evictions.
