
Casualties reported as enemy shells village in Donetsk region

Two people have been killed and one more injured by enemy artillery shelling in the village of Zoriane in Ukraine's eastern Donetsk region.
That's according to Anastasiia Medviedieva, spokesperson for the Donetsk regional prosecutor's office, Ukrinform reports, citing Suspilne.
"On July 31, at 17:00, the Russian military, likely using gun and rocket artillery, shelled the village of Zoriane, Pokrovsk district, Donetsk region. Two people were killed and one more person was injured," the post reads.

Medviedieva added that the prosecutor's office had started a pre-trial investigation under Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code (violation of laws and customs of war).
