
Man killed by Russian shelling in Kherson region

Russian shelling in Ukraine's southern Kherson region has killed a resident of the Beryslav district.
That's according to the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office, Ukrinform reports.
"A pre-trial investigation has been launched into violations of the laws and customs of war," the post read.

According to the investigation, on August 16, at around 13:00, Russian forces shelled a village in the Beryslav district with artillery. A local resident, who was on the street at the time of the attack, died.
This morning, the occupiers also attacked the regional center and other settlements in the region, wounding at least three civilians.
