
15 hours spent to put out fire after Russian attack on coalmine in Toretsk

In Toretsk, Donetsk region, rescuers spent 15 hours putting out a fire that broke out following an enemy attack on the territory of a coalmine.
In particular, a lifting mechanism caught fire due to the Russian shelling, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reports. The fire covered 1,000 square meters.
The roof of a three-story administrative building on the entire area – 2,000 square meters – was also on fire. In addition, the fire spread to the third floor of the building.

"Rescuers spent 15 hours battling with fire and put it out at 14:15. Twenty-seven personnel and six units of equipment were involved," the State Emergency Service noted.
As reported, on the night of October 22, Russian troops struck Toretsk from aviation. A non-functioning coalmine was hit.
