Enemy shells border area of Sumy region six times

Russian troops have shelled the border area and settlements in Sumy region six times today.

The Sumy Regional Military Administration said this in a post on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

"Throughout the day, the Russians fired six times at the border area and settlements of Sumy region," the report says.

Twenty explosions were recorded in the region.

"Yunakivka, Krasnopillia, Myropillia and Shalyhyne communities came under shelling," the Sumy RMA said.

In Myropillia community, eight explosions were recorded. The enemy fired artillery and mortars.

In Shalyhyne community, three explosions were recorded. The enemy deployed mortars.  

The same number of explosions was recorded in Yunakivka community, where Russian troops fired mortars. The enemy dropped six mines on Krasnopillia community.

As Ukrinform reported, Russian troops launched strikes on Kharkiv.
