List of terrorists who will be released includes some who gained notoriety

In exchange for the return of Israelis from the Gaza Strip, in the first stage, approximately 140 Palestinian prisoners will be released, with a total of 300 when the deal is fully implemented. These include a woman who tried to get a nose job in prison and the 17-year-old who stabbed a Haredi.

The hostage deal with Hamas is expected to take effect as early as Thursday morning, resulting in the gradual release of at least 50 captives.

These captives, the first batch of the some 240 who were forcibly taken by the Hamas terrorists during the Oct. 7 atrocities on Israel's southern communities and bases, will be returned to Israel over a four-day ceasefire that could be prolonged.

In the first stage, Hamas will hand over to the Red Cross 30 children, eight mothers, and 12 adult women. Israel committed that in exchange for the release of ten additional captives, it will cease hostilities for one more day.

In exchange for the return of Israelis from the Gaza Strip, in the first stage, approximately 140 Palestinian prisoners will be released, with a total number of prisoners when the deal is fully implemented.

The majority of the inmates eligible for potential release are young males aged 18 and below. They have been detained for participating in riots and throwing rocks in either the West Bank or east Jerusalem. Additionally, there are 13 other prisoners, adult women primarily convicted for attempted stabbings.

Out of the 300 terrorists, about 40 are accused of serious charges, including intentional premeditated murder, attempted murder, and firing on Israelis.

Among those terrorists is Muhammad Rajab Hassan Abu Katish, 17, who stabbed a 20-year-old Jewish man on Sheshet Hayamim Street in Jerusalem in 2022, causing severe bodily harm. Abu Katish was caught after a chase and sentenced to 15 years in prison.

The list also includes Aisha Yusuf Abdullah Afghani, who arrived at the Damascus Gate in Jerusalem with the intention of stabbing an IDF soldier. She approached the checkpoint while holding a bag close to her body and was neutralized at a short distance from the soldiers.

Among the expected released terrorists is 38-year-old Asraa Riad Jamil Jabas, a female terrorist involved in detonating a gas tank near Ma'aleh Adumim. In the attack that occurred in October 2015, a police officer was severely injured. Jabas gained notoriety when she requested plastic surgery on her face during her imprisonment in Israel. Her request was denied.
