In a coordinated effort, Commando Brigade soldiers, the Givati Brigade, and the 7th Brigade are currently encircling the area and continuing to eliminate terrorists in close-range clashes.

On Saturday the Armored Corps' 7th Brigade's combat team soldiers and the Kfir Brigade's soldiers launched a divisional operation in northern Khan Yunis in the Al-Qarara area, which began with an air strike by the air force.

The aircraft struck several terror targets and eliminated terrorists who were hiding in nearby apartments close to the forces. Additionally, the Armored Corps detected explosive devices, grenades, RPG missiles, and mortar shells hidden in UNRWA sacks inside a residential building.

During the operation, the forces located several Hamas infrastructures and means of combat, eliminated terrorists at close range using tank fire and neutralized the threat adjacent to the fence. An attack helicopter struck and destroyed, with intelligence guidance, a weapons cache, and an underground facility beneath it.
