A delegation of Turkish officials and business representatives will visit Ukraine in March to enhance cooperation in rebuilding Ukrainian infrastructure.

This was announced on Facebook by Ukraine’s First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy, Yuliia Svyrydenko, following her meeting with Turkey’s Minister of Trade, Ömer Bolat, as reported by Ukrinform.

“In March, we expect a significant visit from a Turkish task force on Ukraine’s reconstruction, with the participation of Turkish businesses. I am confident this will help deepen cooperation between the private sectors of our two countries,” Svyrydenko stated.

During a Ukrainian-Turkish roundtable attended by over 50 Turkish business representatives from the energy, construction, engineering, and agricultural sectors, Ukraine presented investor support tools and key sector projects.

According to Svyrydenko, an essential area of cooperation is the restoration of damaged infrastructure, where Turkish companies are already actively engaged. She highlighted the successful work of Onur Group Ukraine and a ₴400 million investment by a Turkish energy company in energy equipment production in Ukraine.
