Finland to send EUR 16 M humanitarian aid package to Ukraine

Finland announced on Monday, March 10, that it is sending humanitarian aid to Ukraine worth 16 million euros.

This was reported by Yle with reference to the country's Foreign Ministry, Ukrinform reports.

As noted, this amount is part of the aid package for this year, which includes humanitarian aid totaling 36.5 million euros.

The necessary things for Ukraine will be sent through UN humanitarian organizations and the International Committee of the Red Cross.

Finland will also support the activities of the UN World Food Program in Sudan and Gaza with a total of EUR 4.5 million. The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Syria will receive support in the amount of 2 million euros.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, Finland is providing EUR 4.5 million as part of the Partnership for a Strong Ukraine fund for 2025-2027 to support Ukraine's resilience and stability.
