
Russian drone hits apartment block in Zhytomyr region: One killed, five injured

Russian forces targeted an apartment block in the Zhytomyr region with a drone, resulting in one fatality and five injuries, including a child born in 2011.
Vitaliy Bunechko, the head of the regional military administration, shared the update on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
“Today, an enemy drone hit a high-rise building in the Zhytomyr district. At least five buildings were damaged,” he wrote.
He confirmed that the victims, including the injured child, are receiving treatment in regional hospitals.
Rescue teams and investigators are currently working at the site. A warming and assistance center is being established in the community, and residents of the damaged apartments will be provided with construction materials and essential support for repairs.
As reported by Ukrinform, six people were injured in Dnipro following a Russian missile strike on April 10.
