Zelensky announces upcoming meetings with presidents of South Africa, Poland, Czechia

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has announced that he will soon hold a series of talks with world leaders, including President Cyril Ramaphosa of South Africa, President Andrzej Duda of Poland, and President Petr Pavel of the Czech Republic.

He said this during a press briefing on Tuesday, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.

"In the coming days, Ukraine will be stepping up its diplomatic efforts beyond the European continent. I will meet with the current G20 chair, South African President Cyril Ramaphosa. There will also be a meeting with Polish President Andrzej Duda during the Three Seas Summit in Poland, as well as a meeting with Czech President Petr Pavel," Zelensky said.

"We will also take part in the farewell ceremony for Pope Francis. In addition, I will have an important separate meeting with Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez," he added.

Zelensky also noted that tomorrow, the Ukrainian delegation is scheduled to take part in a key meeting in London in the "Europe plus U.S." format, involving France, the UK, Germany, Ukraine, and the United States.

South African officials said earlier that President Zelensky was expected to visit South Africa in April for a meeting with Ramaphosa.
