Pakistan’s security forces killed seven terrorists affiliated with the group “Fitna al-Hindustan” in two separate intelligence-based operations (IBOs) in Balochistan on Tuesday, according to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The operations were carried out in the Machh and Kalat areas, targeting India-backed elements involved in terrorism. In Machh’s Kachhi area, five militants were killed following a fierce exchange of fire between the security forces and the armed group.
Meanwhile, another operation in the Margand area of District Kalat led to the elimination of two more terrorists during intense gunfire.
ISPR reported that a large cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosives was recovered from the sites. The slain terrorists were reportedly involved in numerous terrorist activities, and their elimination represents a significant success in Pakistan’s ongoing counterterrorism efforts.
The military’s media wing reaffirmed the commitment of Pakistan’s security forces to root out India-sponsored terrorist networks and ensure peace and stability across the country.
Earlier, Director General ISPR Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, during a joint press conference with Interior Secretary Khurram Agha, presented evidence of Indian involvement in terrorist activities in Balochistan. He revealed that the May 21 attack on a school bus in Khuzdar, which resulted in the tragic loss of innocent schoolchildren, was orchestrated by the group “Fitna al-Hindustan” under direct Indian directives.
