Senate Chairman Yousuf Raza Gilani stated that Pakistan’s national narrative is increasingly being acknowledged on the international stage.

Speaking to the media after offering Eid prayers in Multan, Gilani extended Eid greetings to the nation and urged citizens to remember the underprivileged and the martyrs on Eidul Azha.

He stressed the importance of political stability as a prerequisite for economic growth and called for a budget that offers meaningful relief to the public.

Highlighting Pakistan's status as a responsible nuclear state, Gilani praised the country’s political and military leadership for exercising commendable restraint during recent tensions with India.

He also paid tribute to the armed forces, acknowledging their courage and sacrifices in defending the nation.
