Airstrike on Kupiansk leaves one dead, two wounded

A Russian airstrike on Kupiansk in Ukraine's eastern Kharkiv region on June 10 killed one civilian and left two others wounded.

The National Police office in the Kharkiv region reported this via Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"On June 10, the enemy dropped a FAB-500 aerial bomb on Kupiansk. Over 30 private houses were damaged. The strike killed a 70-year-old man, and two civilians, aged 68 and 38, were injured," the post reads.

In a separate incident, a man in the village of Vilkhuvatka suffered bodily injuries due to an FPV drone strike and has since been hospitalized.

Investigative and operational teams, alongside explosives experts and forensic specialists, are currently working at the impact sites.

In response to these incidents, investigators have opened criminal proceedings for war crimes under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
