Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha and his Lithuanian counterpart Kęstutis Budrys visited Mykolaiv, where they honored the memory of fallen Ukrainian heroes.

Sybiha said this in a post on the social media platform X, Ukrinform reports.

"Together with my Lithuanian colleague and friend Kestutis Budrys, we also visited Mykolaiv. We paid tribute to the Ukrainian heroes who gave their lives defending Ukraine from Russia's full-scale invasion," Sybiha wrote.

He noted that Ukraine greatly appreciates Lithuania's critical humanitarian assistance to the people of the Mykolaiv region, which includes important projects such as rebuilding schools and energy systems and constructing bomb shelters.

"We will always remember such practical assistance as we build on our excellent bilateral partnership and friendship," the minister added.
