Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has approved the schedule for the upcoming sessions of the Lower House regarding the presentation and discussion of the Federal Budget for the fiscal year 2025-26.

According to the schedule, the Federal Budget 2025-26 will be presented in the National Assembly at five in the evening, while the Senate has also been summoned at six in the evening today.

The House will commence general debate on the budget on Friday, 13th of this month, which will continue until 21st of this month, and formally conclude on the same day.

The Finance Bill 2025 will be taken up for approval by the National Assembly on 26th while Supplementary Grants and other related matters will be discussed and voted on 27th of this month.

There will be no sitting of the House on 11th, 12th and 22nd of this month.

All the parliamentary parties which have representation in the National Assembly, will be given proper time to participate in the budget debate in accordance with the Assembly's rules and procedures.
