Israel-based company Nofar Energy has acquired the largest solar photovoltaic (PV) park in Romania, developed by Portland Trust in the locality of Corbii Mari (Dambovita County).

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is lending EUR18 million to the water company of Dambovita County in Romania, part of a EUR325 million European Union Large Infrastructure Operational Project to extend, rehabilitate and modernize its water and wastewater infrastructure.

Construction company Masterbuild wants to carry out development activities and is readying a project involving an industrial park with cooling systems, located in Butimanu (Dambovita County), which entails investments worth around EUR15 million, said Mirela Harmanescu, COO, Head of Engineering & Technical Dept. with Masterbuild.
