The shares of three companies listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange, namely, Premier Energy, Electromagnetica and Iproeb Bistrita, will be included in the MSCI Frontier and MSCI Romania indices. Romania's equity market presence in the MSCI indices will increase to 32 companies, starting on September 2, 2024, following the quarterly index review conducted by global index provider MSCI in August this year.
Iproeb Bistrita (IPRU.RO), one of the largest local manufacturers of electrical cables and conductors, ended the first quarter of 2024 with net profit of RON7.3 million, fivefold higher (+410%) than the level reported in the same period of 2023, as per the company's data from its quarterly financial report.
Romanian cable maker Iproeb Bistrita (IPRU.RO) reported a net profit of RON21.9 million for 2022, up 467% from RON3.86 million reported for 2021.
Romanian cable maker Iproeb Bistrita ended last year with operating revenue worth RON158 million, up from RON104 million in 2020.
