State-run Oil Terminal (OIL.RO) received approval from the Energy Ministry to start negotiations with real estate developer Iulius Group on a EUR815 million urban regeneration project in Constanta.

OTP Bank Romania on Tuesday said it participated in financing the loan recently granted on the local market to real estate developer Iulius Group to support investments in Iulius Mall regional shopping centers in Iasi, Cluj-Napoca, Suceava and Timisoara.

Real estate developer Iulius Group, held by businessman Iulian Dascalu, is extending its partnership with French retailer Auchan through two new supermarkets to be opened in the second quarter of 2022, within the Family Market projects located in the Bucium district and the Miroslava commune, in Iasi County.

Romanian developer Iulius Group estimates it will invest around EUR35 million in infrastructure and urban mobility works that will serve its Palas Campus project in Iasi, northeastern Romania.

Giant Amazon will have a majority presence in Palas Campus, a project worth EUR120 million of Iulius Group, which is to become one of Amazon’s most powerful centers in Europe.
