Dr. Leahu, the brand of dental clinics created by doctor Ionut Leahu 14 years ago, is going through a rebranding process and will take the name of the Regina Maria network, which bought 51% in the company in 2023. The new brand will be Regina Maria Dental Clinics, starting mid-May.
The footprint of dental clinic chain Dr. Leahu, developed by doctor Ionut Leahu 12 years ago, will expand via acquisitions until the end of 2023 and greenfield expansion subsequently, after Regina Maria network took over 51% of the company.
Private medical clinics chain Regina Maria has acquired 51% in dental clinic chain Dr. Leahu, sources on the capital market told Ziarul Financiar (ZF) daily.
Dental clinic chain Dr. Leahu reported total revenue of over RON59 million in 2020, up 18% on the year, and a net profit of RON3.1 million, up 7.5% on the year.
Dental clinic chain Dr. Leahu, the second largest player on the local dental services market, has attracted an investment from Morphosis Capital Fund I Cooperatief, which acquired a minority stake.
