The number of online card transactions in Romania increased by almost 27% on November 11, 2022, when most merchants carried out the Black Friday sales campaign, as compared to the previous edition, as per data from NETOPIA Payments, the most used online payment processor in Romania.

The number of online card transactions processed by Netopia Payments grew by 40% and their total value surged by 55% year-over-year in 2021, with an average 2 million online transactions processed monthly, through all payment methods.

The number of online card transactions processed by Netopia Payments grew 50% year-over-year in January-September 2021 and their total value grew surged nearly 55%, with an average 1.4 million online transactions processed monthly.
