Yazaki Group, one of the largest automotive component suppliers, on Thursday announced it would adjust production capacity given the current situation of the global market, where the electrification trend is gaining speed, by closing the automotive component plant in Brasov and cutting the number of jobs in Ploiesti.

Unilever, one of the world's largest producers of consumer goods, has completed its investment in the development of food production in Prahova County (Ploiesti) in Romania, ZF sources say. Prime Kapital has opened a new shopping center in the town of Ploiesti, called Prahova Value Centre, and has started the sale process for the Pleiades Residence residential complex.

Belgium-held logistic space developer WDP has invested EUR7 million in an 11,000-sqm industrial space it built for Sweden’s plastics producer Rosti, The building is located in Paulesti locality, near the city of Ploiesti, and was delivered in the second quarter of 2021.
