Soldier who held position alone for 491 days nominated for Hero of Ukraine title
The Verkhovna Rada supported an appeal to the President to award the title of Hero of Ukraine to serviceman Kostiantyn Vlasenko, who held a combat position in the Kupiansk sector for 491 days and was evacuated after suffering severe injuries during a unique aerial evacuation operation.
