Armeconombank, strengthening the long-term cooperation with the Dutch Development Bank (FMO), signed the 4th loan agreement worth 30 million US dollars, bringing the total value of the contracts signed with the above-mentioned partner-institution to about 70 million US dollars. This financing package will be directed to micro, small and medium enterprises, women and young entrepreneurs, as well as to the agricultural sector, contributing to the sustainable development of the country's economy. Armeconombank has been cooperating with the Dutch Development Bank since 2010, which, as a leading investor, supports the sustainable private sector in developing countries and emerging markets by investing in ambitious projects and enterprises. Since the beginning of this year, the bank has signed loan agreements with international financial companies equivalent to 66 million US dollars. -

ARMECONOMBANK, expanding its cooperation with international partners, has attracted USD 10 million from the OPEC International Development Fund aimed at financing micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, particularly green projects, energy efficiency programs, as well as women entrepreneurs, giving them the opportunity to receive the necessary funds for business development, new jobs to create and expand operations. To date, the Bank has signed 124 loan agreements worth USD 680 million with international and other development financial institutions, contributing to the development of SMEs. OPEC Fund is a development finance agency established in 1976 by OPEC (Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries) member countries to assist non-OPEC countries. -

Armeconombank and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) have signed an AMD loan agreement equivalent to 10m USD within the framework of the 33rd EBRD Business Forum. This collaboration is aimed also at the balanced development of the country as a part of the funds will be allocated to the financing of businesses in the regions of Armenia. This agreement is already the 15th since 2000 and brings the total amount of the funds provided by this particular partner to USD 83.0m. -

Fitch Ratings international rating agency raised the Long-term Issuer Default Rating (IDR) of Armeconombank by one notch from "B" to "B+" with a stable outlook. . At the same time, the Bank's Viability Rating (VR) was raised from "b" to "b+". "The upgrade of the Bank’s ratings reflects our view that considerable improvements in operating profitability and capitalisation, which the Bank reported in 2022-2023, have proved sustainable.
