On January 10, the Russian troops once again struck the border territories of Sumy and Chernihiv regions, northern Ukraine. A total of 42 strikes were recorded.
On January 1, 2023, Russian troops attacked five border communities in the Sumy region, having fired 114 projectiles. A local landmark was reported damaged.
Every day, the areas bordering with the Russian Federation in liberated regions of Ukraine are subjected to shelling, with Sumy region suffering the most.
