As a result of cooperation between Ucom and the SunChild NGO, another community infrastructure development project has been carried out in Vardenis community of the Gegharkunik region. A solar power plant with a capacity of 11.6 kWh was installed on the roof of a community-owned building in Garnik Karapetyan Park in Vardenis. These solar panels are designed to cover the energy costs of the park’s lighting and other adjacent structures. Additionally, the surplus energy will be redirected to reduce the electricity costs of other community infrastructure. "Using sustainable energy sources not only allow communities to save their budgets and address more issues for their residents.
