In Vayots Dzor, the peaceful coexistence of humans and wildlife has been given more importance to. There is this challenge to conserve the farms without harming the nature. Farmers realize that bears possess remarkable skills: they very quickly identify and overcome the obstacles created by farmers, and cause significant losses to their farms. Vahe Khachatryan, a beekeeper in Gomq, has tried numerous strategies to prevent losses: he found the bears’ paths to his garden, installed devices signaling their approach, but they were temporary and ineffective. Viva-MTS and the Foundation for the Preservation of Wildlife and Cultural Assets have found an effective way to support farmers: they made use of modern green technologies. The Zeynalyans' daily routine and living agenda changed months after the birth of their first child, Davit. The boy was diagnosed with cerebral palsy (CP). Parents noticed developmental problems in the child. The issue of Davit's rehabilitative treatment became a paramount matter for the family. The "Individual Assistant" program by Viva-MTS and the "SOURCE" Foundation has become an important support for the family displaced from Artsakh now living in Kapan, Syunik. Viva-MTS and the Foundation for the Preservation of Wildlife and Cultural Values (FPWC) are modernizing the infrastructures they jointly built in the regions. In the Gomk settlement of Vayots Dzor marz, the management of the external lighting system is carried out by both automatic and remote control. Thanks to the new technologies, the adjustment of the lights is carried out according to the most flexible principle, running on a photo relay reacting to natural light and using mobile phone.
