
Schools and colleges across Sindh will now observe a five-day working week, from Monday to Friday, after the provincial government reversed its decision to hold classes six days a week. The change was announced in a notification issued by the Sindh School Education and Literacy Department on Wednesday. “With the approval of the competent authority, it is hereby notified that all public and private educational institutions under the administrative control of the School Education & Literacy Department, Government of Sindh, shall observe a five-day working week, from Monday to Friday, with immediate effect and until further orders,” the notification said.
