An Israeli man was hurt in a clash with three Palestinians at Athens’ Syntagma Square. The incident comes amid rising anti-Israel protests and attacks targeting Israelis in Greece.
"It is appalling that Mr. Ambassador focuses only on graffiti (which is obviously being erased), while an unprecedented genocide is being carried out in Gaza," the mayor of Athens wrote.
The restaurant opened shortly after Shabbat ended at 10 pm, and just 12 minutes later, a group of individuals entered and threw flyers and sprayed anti-Israel messages on the walls.
