Purcari Wineries Public Company Limited (stock market: WINE), one of the leading wine groups in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), ended the first half of 2026 with revenues of RON182.2 million, down 7% on the year, reflecting lower consumer demand in Romania and the transition to new distribution arrangements in CEE, partly offset by growth in Moldova and Bulgaria.
Romania’s industrial sales (on the domestic and external markets) rose by 4.4% in nominal terms in June 2026 compared with June 2025 and by 6.1% compared with May 2026, data from the country’s statistical office INS showed on Tuesday, August 25.
