Private healthcare employers in Romania have posted more than 8,200 jobs since the beginning of 2026, targeting doctors, nurses, and the administrative and support staff at private clinics, as per data from eJobs, the main online recruitment platform in Romania.
More than 100,000 square meters of office space were leased in Bucharest in the first half of 2026, slightly below the level recorded in the same period of 2025, while the limited supply of modern, well-located space continues to put upward pressure on rents, according to Colliers’ mid-year market update report.
CEC Bank and Exim Banca Romaneasca have signed a financing agreement of around RON289 million for the development of CET Titan, the first combined heat and power plant built from scratch in Bucharest in the past 46 years, which will produce annually around 400 GWh of electricity and 200 GWh or thermal power.
