Hamas heeft woensdag de Nederlands-Israëlische gijzelaar Ofir Engel vrijgelaten. Voor zover bekend was de achttienjarige Engel de enige Nederlander die vastzat in de Gazastrook.

De 18-jarige Ofir Engel werd tijdens de aanval van Hamas op Israël op 7 oktober gegijzeld en naar de Gazastrook meegenomen.
