De vrijlating van Israëlische gijzelaars is alsnog gelukt zaterdagavond, melden verschillende bronnen. Hamas stelde zaterdag de vrijlating van een tweede groep gijzelaars uit, omdat Israël zich niet aan de afspraken zou houden. De onenigheid is bijgelegd na bemiddeling door Qatar en Egypte.

Qatarul a anunţat că până la finalul zilei vor mai fi eliberaţi 13 ostatici israelieni şi alţi şapte străini ţinuţi în Fâşia Gaza de mişcarea palestiniană Hamas, precum şi 39 de deţinuţi palestinieni din închisorile israeliene.

Ook CNN zei dergelijke signalen te hebben ontvangen.
