Ukraine’s Defense Forces have successfully repelled attacks by Russian invaders in the Bakhmut and Avdiivka directions, and continue holding back Russia’s onslaught in the Kupiansk direction and near Marinka.
Russians are trying to advance to Avdiivka, which is 20 kilometers from the decision-making center of the occupiers in the "DPR," but they are not approaching the city with their equipment closer than six kilometers.
A total of 128 children were forcibly evacuated from the settlements across Donetsk region where hostilities are raging. Eight more children remain in place, including four in Bakhmut and one in Avdiivka.
At the moment, the hottest spots are the Donetsk region’s Avdiivka, Marinka and Bakhmut directions. Russian troops are making attempts to establish control over Avdiivka and Marinka.
Over the past day, the enemy unsuccessfully attacked Avdiivka and Maryinka directions nine times. The enemy losses totaled more than a company killed and wounded.
On Sunday morning, the Russian army shelled Avdiivka, Donetsk region, with Grad MLRS several times, struck twice with tanks and launched an airstrike targeting the city center.
Russian occupation troops are conducting the most active hostilities near such settlements as Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Marinka. In the past 24 hours, Ukrainian defenders have repelled over 20 enemy attacks.
Fierce battles are ongoing in the southern and northern parts of Bakhmut; the Russian invaders are conducting offensive actions in the Avdiivka direction with the aim of establishing control over Avdiivka and Marinka.
