Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal has said at a meeting with Irish Prime Minister Micheál Martin that Ireland can become one of the leaders in the future Ukraine recovery process.
Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine Olha Stefanishyna thanked Ireland for its commitment to be Ukraine's advocate in the EU for obtaining candidate status.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba in a phone call with Irish Foreign Minister Simon Coveney thanked Ireland for the readiness to insist on applying new severe EU sanctions against Russia.
