There have already been 27 combat clashes in the Pokrovsk sector today. The Russian army has lost 244 soldiers, as well as 1 tank, 2 infantry fighting vehicles, and three armored personnel carriers.
Since the beginning of the day, there have been forty-four combat engagements on the front. The enemy has significantly increased the number of attacks in the Pokrovsk sector.
The battlefield situation is currently the most dynamic in the Kupiansk and Pokrovsk sectors, with almost half of all battles today taking place there.

Six people were injured and over 60 cases of damage or destruction were documented as a result of Russian shelling in the Pokrovsk district of Donetsk region on the night and morning of March 3.
As of 17:00 on Sunday, January 7, the bodies of three dead, including a three-year-old child, were recovered from the sites of the attacks in the town of Pokrovsk and the village of Rivne.
In Donetsk region’s Pokrovsk, six people, including two children, may be trapped under the rubble of buildings destroyed by a Russian missile strike. Search and rescue operations are ongoing.
Russian forces fired S-300 missiles at the Donetsk region’s Pokrovsk district, killing 11 people, including five children. At least eight residents were injured.
