Kadyrov’s men announced they had captured the city of Sievierodonetsk, but the city is remaining unseized, and fierce battles are raging on its streets.
Around 800 people are hiding in several bomb shelters underneath the Azot chemical factory in Sievierodonetsk, which has been targeted by Russian missile attacks.
In one of the Russian airstrikes on Sievierodonetsk, where fierce battles continue, a tank with nitric acid was hit at a chemical plant, causing a leak.
Russian troops are conducting the offensive on such settlements as Sievierodonetsk and Borivske, as well as Komyshuvakha, Nyrkove, Berestove and Bilohorivka.
The members of the National Guard of Ukraine have destroyed Russia’s Pion gun, which was used to shell Sievierodonetsk and ruin a bridge between the regional center and Lysychansk.
The situation within the areas of hostilities is remaining tense and showing the signs of aggravation. In particular, Russian invaders are attempting to encircle Ukrainian forces near Lysychansk and Sievierodonetsk.
