ISLAMABAD - Pakistan and Egypt on Saturday agreed to strengthen cooperation for joint police training programmes besides enhancing collaboration between the interior ministries of two countries.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Saturday met a delegation from Egypt during which the two sides discussed promoting cooperation in the fields of security, counter-terrorism, combatting narcotics, cybercrime, and safe city initiatives, the interior ministry said. Pakistan and Egypt concluded a two-week-long military exercise focused on counter-terrorism, the military’s media wing said on Monday.
