    In Q1 2025, Avalanche saw a 23.6% QoQ increase in average daily transactions across Avalanche L1s, reaching 3.8 million. This growth was driven by Pulsar (1.8M daily txs) and QChain (up 1,720% QoQ). Daily active addresses on Avalanche L1s grew 146.3% QoQ to over 3,000 daily, led by Lamina1 and QChain. DeFi TVL (AVAX)rose 61.9% QoQ to 59.8 million, while TVL (USD) decreased 14.7% to $1.1 billion. Aave’s TVL grew 3.3% QoQ to $515M, dominating 45.9% of Avalanche C-Chain’s DeFi TVL. Stablecoin market cap on Avalanche C-Chain fell 15.9% to $1.9 billion, though USDC rose 42.7% QoQ. While the number of active validators fell 4.4% QoQ to 1,401, total stake (AVAX) increased 2.6% to 211.9 million. Avalanche’s enterprise and gaming ecosystems continued to see growth.     FIFA is migrating its NFT marketplace and collection to a new Avalanche-powered layer-1 blockchain built for digital fan experiences. The Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) has selected Avalanche to power its dedicated blockchain network for non-fungible tokens and digital fan engagement, the organization announced on May 22. FIFA’s layer-1 (L1) blockchain will be powered by the Avalanche network’s scalability-focused infrastructure for the association’s five billion fans worldwide. The move comes nearly a month after FIFA announced its initial plans to launch a new network for its blockchain-based collectibles.     Idle capital will be deployed onchain into real-world asset (RWA) projects, the asset manager said. VanEck plans to launch a private digital assets fund in June targeting tokenized Web3 projects built on the Avalanche blockchain network, the asset manager said in a statement shared with Cointelegraph. The VanEck PurposeBuilt Fund, available only to accredited investors, aims to invest in liquid tokens and venture-backed projects across Web3 sectors, including gaming, financial services, payments, and artificial intelligence.  Idle capital will be deployed into Avalanche (AVAX) real-world asset (RWA) products, including tokenized money market funds, VanEck said.     The SolvBTC.AVAX token generates yield through a multi-protocol strategy that involves Elixir, Euler and Re7. Solv Protocol has launched a yield-bearing Bitcoin token on the Avalanche blockchain, giving institutional investors more exposure to yield opportunities backed by real-world assets, or RWAs. On May 16, the protocol unveiled SolvBTC.AVAX, a token that connects Bitcoin (BTC) to real-world assets like US Treasurys and private credit offered by BlackRock and Hamilton Lane.  The new token was developed through a seven-way partnership involving Solv, Avalanche, Balancer, Elixir, Euler, Re7 Labs, and LFJ, the company said.  Read more
