    MiCA-compliant euro stablecoins grew 128% before MiCA transition ended, says DectaDecta's report said the market cap of eight MiCA-compliant euro stablecoins rose to $673.9 million in the year before Europe’s CASP transition period ended. The market capitalization of compliant euro stablecoins grew 128% in the year leading up to the end of the Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA) transition period, according to payments infrastructure firm Decta. Decta said in a Sunday report that the combined market cap of eight MiCA-compliant euro stablecoins rose to $673.9 million on June 28, 2026, from $295.6 million on June 30, 2025. Trading volume rose 43.1% to $67.3 million from $47 million. The number of MiCA-compliant euro stablecoins tracked in the report also rose to eight from five over the period. Decta tracked eight euro stablecoins that were actively issuing tokens and had market capitalization and trading volume during the study period.     European banks tap Fireblocks for MiCA-compliant euro stablecoinA 12-bank European consortium led by Qivalis is partnering with Fireblocks to develop a regulated euro stablecoin under MiCA, targeting launch in the second half of 2026. A consortium of 12 European banks led by Qivalis has selected digital asset custody provider Fireblocks to provide infrastructure for a Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA)-compliant euro stablecoin, according to a Tuesday release shared with Cointelegraph.  Qivalis’s stablecoin is intended to support institutional use cases such as settlement, treasury and tokenized assets. Fireblocks said it will provide tokenization technology, wallet infrastructure, custody, and other important tools and features to support compliance, such as identity verification and sanctions screening. Qivalis, launched in 2025, is a Netherlands-based venture backed by major banks including BBVA, BNP Paribas, ING and UniCredit, which plans to issue a fully regulated, 1:1-backed euro token structured as an electronic money institution under Dutch supervision. Th...

BitGo Europe GmbH has launched its crypto-as-a-service offering across the European Economic Area, enabling fintechs and banks to integrate regulated crypto custody, trading and fiat on- and off-ramps under the EU’s Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) framework. According to Tuesday’s announcement, the expansion makes BitGo’s API-based infrastructure available in all 30 EEA countries, allowing institutions to embed wallet, onboarding and settlement services directly into their platforms. The service includes multi-asset wallets and Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) fiat rails.
