In the run-up to the Book Giving Day, AraratBank donates books to regional libraries as well as to the libraries at LOFT Meghri Youth Center and Gavar Medical Center. Attaching particular importance to the decentralization of social programs, AraratBank has launched a book campaign in the regions, donating books on February 19 to Kotayk, Shirak, Syunik, Vayots Dzor, Tavush, Aragatsotn, Ararat, Armavir, Gegharkunik, Lori regional libraries and the libraries at LOFT Meghri Youth Center and Gavar Medical Center. "Besides donating books to LOFT Meghri Youth Center, we have jointly agreed to undertake a Books Initiative, declaring the period between February 19 and March 19 a month of reading. For years, Viva-MTS and the Foundation for the Preservation of Wildlife and Cultural Assets (FPWC) have implemented several infrastructure development projects in the village of Arpi, located along the Yerevan-Goris highway. Initially, central and secondary roads were illuminated, and then – a 1.7 km section of the M2 interstate highway, passing through the village. In order to solve the existing problems and to support the community, the partners have pursued an optimal solution: they reinforced the traffic lights along the village-passing highway, and provided the replaced 48 LED lights to the community. They can be used to illuminate other areas or for modernization. The heavy M2 interstate highway splits the village into two. The 48 of the 60-watt LED headlights installed back in 2020 were replaced by 120-watt ones, ensuring brighter illumination. The system is now functioning; it is operated automatically. Fitch Ratings international rating agency raised the Long-term Issuer Default Rating (IDR) of Armeconombank by one notch from "B" to "B+" with a stable outlook. . At the same time, the Bank's Viability Rating (VR) was raised from "b" to "b+". Today the RA Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports, “Olympionic” sports charitable foundation and Fastex have signed a memorandum of cooperation. The purpose of this cooperation is to promote the growth and development of sports in the Republic of Armenia, to improve the competitiveness and the living conditions of athletes, and to encourage the growth of victories recorded in the field of domestic sports.
