More than 1000 children aged 2-14 who were forcibly displaced from Artsakh in the communities of Dilijan, Ijevan, Berd, Noyemberyan and Azatamut of Tavush region and in Jermuk, Yeghegnadzor and Vayk communities of Vayots Dzor region received Christmas gifts from the national communications operator of Armenia, Ucom. Infrastructures are of great importance for Goghtanik residents of Vayots Dzor region. Compatriots forcibly displaced from Artsakh have recently settled in the village with 200 inhabitants. With the support of Ucom company and SunChild NGO, a solar photovoltaic plant with a capacity of 6.9 kWt was installed in the administrative building of Goghtanik settlement of Yeghegis enlarged community. A 10.3 kW solar plant was installed in the local kindergarten, enabling the kindergarten building to be heated with electricity obtained from the sun's rays.
